Understanding Employment Law

This will be a conversational and engaging session about camp employment law and HR issues. As camp operators, we serve as the heads of HR for our organizations. Considering that a typical mid-size camp has 100+ employees each summer, this is no simple task. In this session, we will discuss some of the primary employment laws and regulations that govern our relationship with staff. We will also discuss best practices to avoid costly employment disputes. The session concludes with a Q&A so participants have the opportunity to ask questions. The presenter is a camp attorney, camp founder, and a law school professor of employment law.
