International Visitors
We are here to help you make your conference experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. If you have any questions about this year’s conference or your visit to Atlantic City, please contact using the buttons below.
Applying for Visa Information
We are excited you plan to attend this year’s Tri-State CAMP Conference! You may need a U.S. visa, and due to increased scrutiny and longer wait times, it’s best to start the application early. Visa requirements vary, so check with the U.S. Embassy or consulate in your country for specifics, including whether you need a visa or support letter. While you can apply at any U.S. consular office, applying outside your home country may be harder. Visit www.usembassy.gov for consular office contacts.
If you need a support letter, contact the American Camp Association, NY and NJ office.
Letters are only issued for registered, paid attendees and will be emailed as a PDF. If your visa doesn’t arrive in time, your registration fee will be refunded. Given high demand for letters, request one promptly. Requests made fewer than 5 business days before your appointment or 10 business days before the event may not be fulfilled in time.
In order to grant your request for a visa letter, the American Camp Association requires the following:
- Your Name, Address
- Your Passport Number
- Your Company Name
- Your Title
- If you are a member of ACA (including your member number) or not
- If you are an exhibitor, speaker, or attendee
You may scan this information and send it as an email attachment to samara@acanynj.org.
For more information on applying for a visa, please visit the U.S. State Department Web Site. You may also read more information here.
The decision to grant visas belongs solely to the embassy/consulate. The Tri-State CAMP Conference cannot promise that you or your colleagues will receive a visa. Likewise, the Tri-State CAMP Conference cannot change the decision of the governmental agency should your application be denied. If you have any questions regarding this process, contact us at samara@acanynj.org.
Stay Alert
Hotel Room Scam – Beware!
There are companies (including Exhibition Housing Management or Convention Housing Services, Global Housing, Global Travel, etc…) who have been contacting our attendees to “assist” with hotel reservations. They sometimes disguise themselves as the American Camping Association (ACA) Housing Bureau or claim to represent the hotels in our block.
These companies are NOT affiliated with the ACA in any capacity. They may claim they can get better rates, that rooms are limited, or use other sales pitch methods. They are NOT the official housing bureau. If you receive a call from this or any company claiming to represent the ACA, be aware that this is a scam and DO NOT MAKE THE RESERVATION.
