Below are all the information you will need to know about our pricing model, policies, conference hot tips and more

2026 Pricing

Below you will find our Tri-State CAMP Conference pricing.

  • Conference registration packages include registrations for up to five attendees from the same camp/organization.   If you are registering more than one person for the conference, this is the registration option to choose to receive the best value per person.
  • Any attendees over five will be an additional $79 per person regardless of membership status.
  • Registration fees do not include meals, hotel or travel
  • All first-time NFP Camps must provide a copy of their IRS determination letter proving their NFP status.
  • An ACA Affilicate camp is one that pays affiliate service fees for their camp.  Affiliate camps receive special discounts for our professional development programs.  An affiliate camp can then become part of the Accreditation process. Camp professionals who are ACA members but whose camps are not affiliated may not take advantage of the individual member rate or sign up as an affiliated group.
  • All registrants associated with your conference registration must be directly affiliated with your camp.  Organizations that own multiple camps must register each camp separately.
  • For questions regarding our Tri-State registration policies, please call Samara Feinberg so that we may assist you with the registration process.

Policies

Cancellation

If the ACA, NY and NJ cancels the Tri-State CAMP Conference and you have already registered for the conference, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to carry your registration over to the following year.

Refunds

If you would like to cancel your registration, you must submit a refund request in writing to ACA, NY and NJ by February 8, 2026.  You will receive a refund minus a $150 administration fee.  Any cancellations after this date will not receive a refund. ACA, NY and NJ is not responsible for any expenses incurred by you as a result of your registration, whether the event was attended, postponed, or canceled.

Inclement Weather

The ACA , NY and NJ staff & the team of volunteers work ALL year to get ready for the Tri-State CAMP conference. The conference will run regardless of inclement weather.  We understand weather may differ in the location you are coming from, however, we do not offer refunds for the conference due to weather unless the conference is directly affected and we are unable to operate. If there is a state of emergency where the conference is taking place or a weather emergency, we will determine refunds on a case-by-case basis after the conference has ended.

Children

Children – We all love kids—that’s why we are in the camp business. However, for the safety of your children and as not to disturb other attendees, there will be no children under 16 years old allowed in the vendor hall, session rooms and the general session/keynote. Children are welcome to enjoy all public areas of the convention center and the Ben Appelbaum Lounge.

Please note that there is no babysitting available at the conference. If you are breastfeeding/pumping, we do offer a breastfeeding pod by registration.

Day rate

We do not offer a day rate for the conference.  If you are only available to attend for one day, the price remains the same for five attendees to attend the conference and for each additional attendee to pay $75 per person.

Badges

Conference badges will reflect the camp name that each attendee registered with. We are not able to change your camp name. You must be registered under the camp/program you directly work with.  Please do not register under another camp name because they have an extra spot.

No Soliciting

Please note that registration for attendees (group or individual) is for summer camps only. This is not an option for vendors or companies or people who want to attend the conference to sell to or network with summer camps to build your business. Anyone observed soliciting in the exhibit hall aisles, session rooms or public areas, or in an exhibitor’s booth will be asked to leave immediately. Additional penalties also may be levied. Please report any violations you observe to the ACA, NY and NJ staff.

Code of Conduct

The Tri-State CAMP Conference, run by ACA, NY & NJ, works to promote a welcoming environment at its conference that is safe, collaborative, supportive, and productive for all who participate, including, but not limited to attendees, exhibitors, volunteers, service providers, staff, speakers and guests. To this end, we expect participants to accept, value, and abide by the code of conduct.

Lost and Found

ACA, NY and NJ is not responsible for any items lost at Tri-State.  Many people who find items return them to the registration desk so if you lose an item, please check there.

Food & Beverage

Food

There is food available for purchase throughout the convention center.  In the back of the exhibit hall, there is a food court.  Food is also available on the 3rd floor outside of the Ben Appelbaum Lounge and on the 4th floor near the escalators.   There is a Mrs. Fields stand located on the first floor by registration. Please note that many exhibitors offer food samples as well that can easily be a full lunch! There are also a number of restaurants walking distance from the convention center.

Beverages

There are water fountains and water filing stations throughout the convention center and beverages sold at the food courts.  Coffee can be purchased at the Sheraton (across from convention center), at Starbucks which is a short walk from the convention center and in the train station.

If you have any dietary restrictions, please come prepared with your own food. This includes, but is not limited to: Kosher Food, Gluten-free, Allergen-free or Vegan.

Scams that target Conference Attendees and Exhibitors

Email list scam

ACA, NY & NJ never sells attendee lists through a third party or otherwise.  Over the years, it has come to our attention that emails have circulated regarding purchasing an attendee list.  This is a scam and is not affilicated with our organization.

Hotel Room Scam

Please be aware of a hotel room scam that some of our attendees have experienced. There are companies (including Exhibition Housing Management or Convention Housing Services, Global Housing, Global Travel, etc.) who have contacted our attendees to “assist” with hotel reservations.  They sometimes disguise themselves as the American Camping Association (ACA) Housing Bureau or claim to represent the hotels in our block.   They may claim they can get better rates, that rooms are limited, or use other sales pitch methods.   They are NOT the official housing bureau and are NOT affiliated with the ACA in any way.

If you receive a call from this or any company claiming to represent the ACA, be aware that this is a scam and DO NOT MAKE THE RESERVATION.

For either of these scams, you may file a fraud report to the FTC here https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/
